In its reply of 10 April 2000 to the Secretary-General, the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) stated that since the adoption of CCAMLR resolution 7/IX (1990), which prohibited the expansion of large-scale pelagic drift-net fishing into the high seas of the Convention area, it had not received any reports on activities or conduct inconsistent with that resolution.
